What You’ll Do:

  • Engage & Educate: Deliver farm safety presentations to elementary students in rural schools, both in-person and via Zoom.
  • Manage Your Schedule: As an independent contractor, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own work hours, primarily during school hours (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday).
  • Prepare & Organize: Ensure that all necessary materials are ready for each presentation and keep records up-to-date using our SalesForce program.
  • Travel & Present: You’ll travel to various schools within your assigned region, delivering impactful safety messages tailored to each grade level.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Agricultural Background: Experience or a strong understanding of farming/ranching operations and lifestyle.
  • Cultural Awareness: Familiarity with Hutterite communities, as they are key clients.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Zoom, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and basic data entry. Experience with SalesForce is a plus.
  • Self-Starter: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage your time and schedule independently.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have dependable transportation to travel to schools.
  • Independent Contractor: Comfortable working independently, with compensation based on the number of presentations delivered.

Compensation:

  • Pay: $50 – $100 per presentation, depending on the length (30 minutes to 2 hours).
  • Travel Compensation: Travel time and mileage will be compensated when necessary.
  • Work Schedule: Available during the school year (September to June), with no work expected in July and August.
